Quantitative Electroencephalogram (qEEG)
FUNCTION
Measure Your Brain's Electrical Activity
The Quantitative Electroencephalogram (qEEG) is a non-invasive test that measures and maps your brain's electrical activity across multiple scalp sites, providing a detailed analysis of brainwave frequencies like delta, theta, alpha, and beta to assess neurological health. It works by recording EEG signals through a cap with 19-32 electrodes, digitizing the data in a brain map, offering precise, personalized insights into brain function detecting abnormalities linked to conditions like ADHD, depression, epilepsy, or traumatic brain injury guiding targeted treatments like neurofeedback or medication to optimize mental performance and health.
